Xylose is the main material of xylitol in China, and xylose has adopted as a non-caloric sweetener by Japan in 1960s.
Application: it can be used in dyeing and tanning, or a sweetener for diabetics. It is a non-caloric sweetener, additive for meat dish, oil antioxidant, caramel material, various perfume materials, intestinal adjusting agent, hygroscopicity material, materials for medical and industrial use, and feed additive. It has been listed into Catalogue of Well-known Products Intensively Supported by Eleventh-Five Year Plan, just as xylitol.
